This is one of the most important lessons I’ve learned over the past several years. Words < Actions. The way a person treats you communicates everything you need to know about how they value you. Pay attention and believe them. Words ain’t a dang thing.
It’s make-your-own-pizza night here at the Talley home! Thankful for a man who puts us first and looks for ways for all of us to spend time together. 💜💜💜 #thekitchenatcranglehall

The way she loves Charlie... it is the sweetest thing! 💜 #ctfamtakes2019
I love him so. He’s 11 going on 20, but I’m so thankful for the time we carve out together. From runs to @petco for gecko and kitty cat supplies to jaunts in our woods, we have so many similar passions and personal pursuits. We butt heads like it’s going out of style, but that’s par for the course when you’re raising your mini-me. To borrow a word from the esteemed @glennondoyle, raising this boy is all kinds of brutiful. Beautiful and brutal swirled into one. He’s a gift, my Luke William. 💜💜 #ctfamtakes2019

Loving my new Savvy Minerals lipstick in Siren. It hasn’t budged - even through my morning coffee and mid-morning veggie snack. Also, gotta give some love to Frankincense for this fresh face... no other make up (and no filter) on my face. Just good ole natural, budget-friendly products and the sunshine from my classroom window! #planningperiodselfie #tgif
I needed this reminder tonight. Shame is a liar. It is a prison. It is not of God. And anyone or any institution that tries to make you feel ashamed is deceiving you. You were fearfully and wonderfully made. You are worthy of love and belonging no matter what mistakes or “wrong” turns you’ve made. Rest in that peace tonight, and I will, too. 💜
Look who’s home!! We are so thankful that our PollyGirl was well enough to leave the vet today! She is still recovering from an intensely invasive middle ear infection, but she is on the mend and our hearts are so full! Please keep thinking of and praying for our girl. We need many more years with her. 💜💜💜
Alright, friends. Hopping on here real quick during my lunch break to share with you about how these two oils helped Charlie last night! He has a tough time with tension headaches, particularly at night. This often leads to him having to sleep sitting up in our bed or - worse - moving to our family room to sleep upright on our couch. Y’all know how rough life can be without quality sleep! . Last night, we moved our bedroom diffuser to his nightstand and diffused three drops each of these. And guess what? Charlie’s head tension eased away and he got a good night’s sleep. All thanks to a bit of intention and a lot of support from some plant juice. . You see, lavender oil has natural compounds that can help you fall asleep naturally. And tea tree oil has anti-inflammatory compounds which may be helpful for decreasing tension. I am thankful that we had these two bottles on hand last night to support Charlie’s wellness. And, let’s be real, mine, too! I just don’t sleep as well when I’m in the bed all by myself. . An important word about essential oil quality... All oils are not created equally! I’ve used store-bought oils and have found them to be poor in quality to say the least. Young Living essential oils are the only ones I trust because they have complete control over the entire process, from seed to seal. You’ll never find fillers or added ingredients in YL oils because they are 100% pure, therapeutic grade. When purchasing oils for you and your family, you want to be sure that you’re getting the best of the best and not compromising your wellness by using oils that are diluted with possibly harmful chemicals. Do your research and buy responsibly.
I know I’m late to the party, but this record is saving my life, y’all. Go listen and you will thank me!
Something I have been working on lately. No one can take care of me like I can take care of myself. No one can help me if I don’t ask for and receive help. In order for me to have enriching relationships with others, I must first nurture the relationship I have with myself. This is important work that mustn’t be ignored. How do you care for yourself?
We literally purse our lips the same. Can’t nobody tell me this boy ain’t mine! 😂😂 Tonight, Luke and I did a fun, brave thing and went live on Facebook to share how the @younglivingeo premium starter kit has much such a difference in our lives! It was SO much fun, and we kept it real for y’all. You still have ~1 hour to get in on this sale! Click the link in my profile and you’ll snag everything you need to jumpstart your family’s wellness journey! Sending lots of love from our home to yours. 💜💜 #ctfamtakes2019
Send some love and light to our sweet Polly tonight. We had a rough morning and she had surgery in an effort to clear up whatever is causing her symptoms (draining ear, permanent head tilt). She will be ten years old this year, so we might have some difficult decisions to make in the next month regarding her care. She is in pain and struggles to walk. My heart breaks for my girl and I wish there was something I could do to take away her suffering. She is in amazing hands and will stay overnight at our beloved Forest Hill Animal Hospital for a couple of days so that they can give her the best care possible. We love you, PollyGirl!
